Malaysia Airlines has partnered with Mumbai Indians to launch a unique aircraft livery, blending aviation with cricket culture in a visually striking collaboration.
The special design is featured on an Airbus A330-300, combining the signature blue and gold colours of Mumbai Indians with the airline’s branding, symbolising movement, energy, and global connection.
The livery incorporates elements like the Mumbai Indians’ iconic Chakra and dynamic patterns, representing the team’s expanding global fanbase while showcasing the vibrant spirit of Mumbai on an international platform.
To celebrate the launch, both partners released a digital film highlighting Mumbai’s culture, passionate fan following, and the hospitality associated with Malaysia Airlines, reinforcing the emotional connect between travel and sport.
The aircraft will begin operating on key international routes, helping connect fans across India, Asia, and beyond, while extending the cricket experience beyond stadiums into the travel journey itself.
This collaboration also aligns with Malaysia Airlines’ broader strategy to boost tourism through initiatives like the Bonus Side Trip programme and support for Visit Malaysia 2026, strengthening its presence in the growing Indian travel market.
