Jazeera Airways resumes Kuwait flights, carries 2,000 passengers on initial operations day

Jazeera Airways has resumed flights from Kuwait, operating six services to Beirut, Cairo, Istanbul, and Mumbai, carrying over 2,000 passengers on the first day. The restart follows airport reopening after 57 days, signalling gradual recovery in regional air connectivity amid easing restrictions.

The airline plans to operate 48 flights to multiple destinations including Mumbai, Delhi, Kochi, and Jeddah by early May. Operations align with Kuwait civil aviation guidelines, while alternative routing via Dammam continues to support passenger and cargo movement during the phased restoration of regional air travel.
