Kashmir’s travel market is witnessing strong stabilisation with improved demand and booking behaviour since the Pahalgam incident. “Conversions have improved by around 20%, while cancellations have declined by 30–35% compared to the post-incident period,” said Sameer Baktoo, Chairman, TAAI J&K Chapter. He added that average package values have risen 10–15%, driven by experiential travel demand, with booking patterns now more consistent and less volatile than in 2024.
