New Zealand will move Group Visitor Visa and Tour Escort Visitor Visa applications to its enhanced Immigration Online platform from 20 July 2026. Immigration New Zealand said the transition aims to simplify visa processing, improve application tracking, reduce waiting times, and strengthen digital services for international travel groups and tour operators.
The upgraded system will cover Group Visitor Visas, Approved Destination Status applications, and Tour Escort Visitor Visas. Immigration New Zealand said the changes are part of its wider Our Future Services programme focused on improving efficiency, customer experience, and digital visa management. The new process will also allow applicants and tour agencies to share applications digitally, supporting smoother coordination for group travel arrangements.
