IndiGo will temporarily suspend its Delhi-Manchester services from 31 August 2026, citing increased operating costs caused by ongoing international airspace restrictions, geopolitical tensions in the Middle East, higher aviation turbine fuel prices, foreign exchange volatility, and longer flight durations. As a result, the airline will return one of the six Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners leased from Norse Atlantic Airways. IndiGo will continue operating its other long-haul routes and assist affected passengers with alternative travel options or refunds.
