Domestic travel demand and rising incomes to power India’s tourism growth: Radisson


Nikhil Sharma, Managing Director & COO, South Asia, Radisson Hotel Group says, “Supported by rising disposable incomes, improving connectivity, and strong demand across leisure, pilgrimage, destination weddings, wellness, and MICE segments, inbound tourism is set to fuel Indian tourism sector.” Multiple global hotel chains across India are planning to expand as they believe the domestic tourism sector to grow with the rising demands from the Indian middle class. “International arrivals are also expected to strengthen over the medium term, supported by government initiatives, infrastructure investments, and India’s growing appeal as a global tourism destination,” added Sharma.
