Telangana’s Yuva Tourism Clubs and Telangana Darshini Programme are set to strengthen responsible tourism while fostering closer engagement between students and local tourism stakeholders. The initiative aims to familiarise young people with the state’s cultural, heritage, ecological, and tourism assets, while creating new learning opportunities for licensed guides through structured mentoring and heritage experiences. “Veteran tour guides will mentor students through live heritage walks and masterclasses. It’s a perfect exchange where guides share their deep local wisdom, and tech-savvy students can help them adapt to the digital world,” said K Ranga Reddy, Chairman – Andhra Pradesh & Telangana Chapter, IATO.
