The Hotel & Restaurant Association (Western India) – HRAWI will host the third edition of its Knowledge Series on Wednesday, 15th July 2026 at the Fortune Miramar, Goa – Member ITC Hotels’ Group. The full-day learning session aims to bridge the information gap and help hospitality professionals stay updated on the latest regulatory and policy changes affecting the sector. It is designed to equip hospitality leaders with the knowledge and confidence needed to navigate compliance requirements effectively. The sessions are designed to address the evolving compliance landscape, covering critical topics including the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Rules, GST updates and Labour Codes.
The session will feature expert speakers from Ernst & Young (E&Y), including Abhijit Parab, Partner – Cybersecurity, who will speak on the DPDP Act; Akshit Saraogi, Director – Global Trade and Customs, Indirect Tax, who will cover GST; and Anshul Shukla, Director – Risk Consulting, who will provide insights on the Labour Codes.
With over 17 years of experience in the B2B travel and hospitality sector, she brings deep insight into travel trade dynamics, industry challenges and market developments. She holds an MA in English Literature and a Diploma in Journalism from the Xavier Institute of Communications, Mumbai, which underpin her strong editorial expertise.
