India and Georgia are strengthening their longstanding relationship through deeper cooperation in education, tourism and cultural diplomacy, according to Georgia’s Ambassador to India, Vakhtang Jaoshvili.
The ambassador highlighted growing people-to-people connections, with increasing academic exchanges, student mobility and tourism contributing to stronger bilateral ties.
Georgia continues to position itself as an attractive destination for Indian travellers by promoting its cultural heritage, scenic landscapes and hospitality, while encouraging greater tourism exchanges.
Education remains a key pillar of the partnership, with a growing number of Indian students pursuing higher education in Georgia and expanding institutional collaborations.
The ambassador also emphasised the role of cultural diplomacy in enhancing mutual understanding, building on the historic relationship between the two countries.
As cooperation across tourism, education and culture expands, India and Georgia aim to further strengthen economic ties and people-to-people engagement.
