Rann Utsav, The Tent City, is set to return to Dhordo from November 1, 2026, to March 7, 2027, marking another season of one of Gujarat’s most celebrated tourism experiences. Operated by Evoke Experiences in collaboration with Gujarat Tourism, the festival continues to showcase the White Rann while offering an immersive journey into the culture, heritage and traditions of Kutch.
Located about three hours from Bhuj, the Tent City has grown into one of India’s most sought-after seasonal destinations, drawing visitors from across the country and abroad. The 2026–27 edition will offer luxury tented accommodation, regional cuisine, wellness experiences, adventure activities, curated sightseeing excursions and stargazing under Kutch’s low-light desert skies.
A key highlight will be the cultural programme, featuring performances by the Siddi community, Gujarat’s Afro-Indian community, along with folk music and dance. The on-site Haat will once again showcase artisans and craftspeople through Ajrakh textiles, embroidery, Bandhani sarees, traditional jewellery, mirror work and Lippan art, reinforcing the festival’s role as a celebration of Gujarat’s artistic heritage.
Visitors can extend their trip beyond Dhordo to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Dholavira. To meet rising demand, Evoke Experiences will introduce 35 seasonal tents near the property, offering additional accommodation for travellers exploring the ancient Harappan city and Khadir Bet.
The festival’s continued expansion reflects the growing popularity of Kutch as a year-round tourism destination, with organisers steadily broadening the visitor experience beyond the traditional Rann Utsav circuit.
