Indian travellers continue to book Europe holidays despite rising travel costs, with demand remaining healthy among premium travellers. European airlines have responded by adding more flights and deploying larger aircraft on key routes, although higher prices are prompting budget-conscious travellers and first-time visitors to rethink their plans. Anil Kalsi, Vice President, TAFI, said, “European carriers like Lufthansa and Swiss have added more flights and bigger aircraft, but fares are still around 20–30 per cent higher than last year. Airlines are increasingly using artificial intelligence to manage pricing, the rupee has weakened, and costs are calculated in dollars. Those who can afford Europe are still travelling, but budget travellers are becoming more cautious.”
