Telangana plans ₹10 crore NRI Bhavan, seeks diaspora support for tourism


The Telangana government has announced plans to establish an NRI Bhavan in Hyderabad with an estimated investment of ₹10 crore, aimed at providing multiple services for overseas visitors under one roof. The announcement was made by Tourism Minister Jupally Krishna Rao at the 19th American Telugu Association (ATA) conference in Baltimore. During the event, Rao also urged the global Telugu diaspora to partner with the state in promoting Telangana as an international tourism destination. He invited NRIs and ATA members to help showcase the state’s attractions overseas and adopt tourism and heritage sites for conservation, restoration and development.
