The Goa government has urged the Centre to introduce visa-on-arrival facilities at Dabolim Airport and Manohar International Airport (Mopa), along with an open sky policy, to boost international tourism and improve air connectivity. Rohan A Khaunte, Tourism Minister, also requested the Union government to designate Goa as a Point of Call for priority international markets, particularly Central Asia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), to facilitate direct international flights and tap new tourism source markets.
