Lakshadweep has made 150 luxury tented stays operational across Bangaram and Thinnakara, with 50 tents at Bangaram and 100 at Thinnakara, while lagoon villas are being developed at Minicoy, Kadmat and Suheli under the PPP model. In the Andaman & Nicobar Islands, the newly operational terminal at Veer Savarkar International Airport in Sri Vijaya Puram has an annual capacity of 50 lakh passengers. The administration is also planning 19-seater fixed-wing aircraft connectivity to Diglipur, Car Nicobar and Campbell Bay under UDAN. Eco-tourism projects are additionally being developed across Shaheed Dweep, Aves, Long and Smith Islands through the PPP route.
