IndiGo to operate direct Guwahati to Bangkok flights from 27 October

IndiGo will launch direct flights between Guwahati and Bangkok from October 27, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced. The service will become the third international connection to commence from the newly constructed Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport this year, following Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Sarma stated that the route will open another gateway from Assam to Southeast Asia. Separately, IndiGo has officially announced non-stop, bi-weekly Gaya–Bangkok flights from October 26, expanding its India–Thailand network. The airline’s Guwahati–Bangkok service will add another international connection from Northeast India, ahead of the winter travel season, providing a direct link between Assam and Thailand’s capital and supporting travel between the two markets.
