Axis Bank, Scapia launch travel-focused co-branded credit card

Axis Bank and travel fintech Scapia have launched the Scapia Axis Bank Credit Card, targeting digitally savvy Indian travellers with an integrated offering combining payments, travel bookings and rewards through the Scapia app. The card is available on both Mastercard and RuPay networks, with no joining or annual fee.

The card offers zero forex markup on international transactions, along with Smart Forex features designed to provide greater visibility and control over overseas spending. Cardholders can also access airport privileges covering lounges, dining and premium retail, alongside fully digital onboarding and card management.

Travel-focused rewards are a key feature, with users eligible to earn up to 20% in Scapia Coins on eligible travel bookings made through the Scapia platform. These rewards can be redeemed towards flights, stays, visas, experiences and other travel-related offerings.

For everyday spending, cardholders can earn up to 10% rewards on eligible transactions beyond the Scapia platform. The app brings together travel discovery, planning and booking, while its travel store allows users to access products and brands relevant to their travel and lifestyle needs.

The partnership combines Axis Bank’s expertise in cards and payments with Scapia’s travel-focused digital ecosystem. According to the companies, the collaboration is aimed at creating a more seamless experience for India’s growing base of travel-first consumers, integrating spending, rewards and travel across a single platform.

Onboarding for the Scapia Axis Bank Credit Card began on September 3. The launch marks Scapia’s third banking collaboration and strengthens Axis Bank’s presence in the growing travel and digital-first consumer segment, while offering Indian travellers greater flexibility across domestic and international spending.
