Courchevel Tourisme, in partnership with One Rep Global, brought the French Alps to India’s luxury travel trade through a three-day roadshow across New Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai from, putting the destination’s evolving winter proposition directly in front of the advisors shaping high-value travel.
The message across all three cities was clear: the future of the Alpine holiday is about far more than skiing.
While Courchevel remains the gateway to the legendary 600-kilometre Les 3 Vallées ski area, the destination used its India roadshow to spotlight the breadth of experiences now shaping a Courchevel stay — including more than 45 activities beyond skiing, spanning snow adventures, wellness, gastronomy, family experiences, culture and high-altitude leisure.
Among the experiences highlighted for the upcoming 2026/27 winter season was a new Igloo experience, adding another distinctive, highly experiential element to the destination’s winter offering. The destination also shared its latest developments in luxury hospitality, including its pipeline of new hotel and residence openings across Courchevel’s villages. These include Hôtel Saint Roch in Courchevel 1850, opening in December 2026, alongside Sundance and Steamboat in Courchevel Moriond, and the opening of Barma in Courchevel La Tania.
The roadshow also highlighted Courchevel’s ability to cater to increasingly diverse luxury traveller profiles — from experienced skiers seeking access to one of the world’s largest ski domains, to families travelling with mixed skiing abilities, first-time Alpine travellers and guests looking for a winter escape centred around gastronomy, wellness, snow experiences and exclusive hospitality.
With 43 hotels, including five Palaces, an internationally recognised culinary scene and direct access to Les 3 Vallées, Courchevel continues to bring together the scale of a world-class ski destination with the intimacy, service and personalisation expected by the luxury traveller.
Thierry Mugnier, President of Courchevel Tourisme, said, “India is an increasingly sophisticated luxury travel market, and what we saw across these three cities was a real appetite for a much broader Alpine experience. The conversations were not limited to skiing. Travel professionals wanted to understand the experiences, the gastronomy, the wellness proposition, the new developments and the ways Courchevel can be tailored to different types of travellers. That is exactly what makes this market so exciting for us. Courchevel has the skiing, but it also has an extraordinary depth of experiences beyond the slopes.”
Hemant Mediratta, Founder & CEO, One Rep Global, said, “The scale of the engagement across three cities was significant, but the quality of the conversations was even more telling. India’s luxury travel trade is no longer looking at the Alps simply as a skiing product. They are looking for destinations that can deliver a complete, highly personalised experience. Courchevel is particularly well placed for that conversation because it combines the credibility of 600 kilometres of skiing with more than 45 non-ski experiences, exceptional gastronomy, wellness, family offerings and an ever-evolving luxury hospitality landscape.”
The India roadshow forms part of Courchevel’s continued engagement with the market in its 80th anniversary year, with celebrations beginning on 4 December 2026, marking eight decades since the destination was founded in 1946.
From New Delhi to Kolkata to Mumbai, one message emerged with clarity: India’s luxury traveller is looking beyond the slopes — and Courchevel is giving them more reasons than ever to go to the mountains.
