Antara Cruises has introduced Nauka Vilas, a private luxury yacht designed for bespoke journeys on the Hooghly. Sailing from and returning to Kolkata, the yacht is aimed at couples and small groups seeking an exclusive river cruise experience.
The vessel features a single Luxury Suite with a king-size bed, three-fixture ensuite bathroom, walk-in wardrobe and private sun deck that can be converted into an open-air lounge. Teak interiors, floor-to-window river views and an in-house culinary team complete the onboard experience.
Its inaugural itinerary, A Romantic Bespoke Journey on the Hooghly, is a three-night, four-day all-inclusive cruise covering Tribeni, Bandel, Chandernagore, Serampore and Kolkata. The journey highlights the region’s Mughal, Portuguese, French and Danish heritage through curated excursions.
Meals, beverages and transfers are included in the itinerary, while the yacht can also be booked for occasions such as anniversaries, birthdays and honeymoons. Antara Cruises said itineraries can be customised according to individual guest requirements.
