The Travel Agents Federation of India (TAFI) is set to host its convention in Greece with more than 430 delegates, with North India accounting for over 100 participants. Anil Kalsi, National Vice President, TAFI, said the strong participation from the region reflects the interest generated among members. “I am very happy that North India has been a large part of the contingent. More than 100 people are going from Northern India, including J&K and Punjab, and so we make one-fourth of the contingent, and that’s a good number,” Kalsi said.
He added that the convention has been designed to provide members with first-hand experience of Greece and equip them to promote the destination in the Indian market. The programme will also include sessions on AI upskilling and sustainability, while discussions will focus on strengthening partnerships between travel agents and industry stakeholders.
