Pure play regional airline FLY91 has commenced scheduled operations between Bengaluru and Tirupati, adding a fourth connection to the temple town alongside its existing services from Hyderabad, Vijayawada and Rajahmundry.
The inaugural flight from Bengaluru to Tirupati was marked by a ceremonial boarding pass handover to the first boarding passenger and a cake-cutting ceremony at the airport, celebrating the launch of the new air link for the pure play regional airline.
The new service expands travel options for residents of Bengaluru and neighbouring areas travelling to Tirupati, an important pilgrimage destination in southern India. The addition strengthens FLY91’s regional network across Karnataka, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, connecting travellers with destinations of religious, commercial and tourism significance.
Commenting on the commencement of operations, Manoj Chacko, Founder, Managing Director and CEO of FLY91, said, “With Bengaluru joining our Tirupati network, we are making it easier for people in Karnataka to access one of southern India’s most important pilgrimage destinations. Alongside our existing services from Hyderabad, Vijayawada and Rajahmundry, this connection strengthens regional air links and gives passengers more options to plan their journeys. Our focus remains on connecting cities that matter to people and making air travel a practical and convenient option”.
The Bengaluru–Tirupati service forms part of FLY91’s wider expansion under its winter schedule 2026-27, which has increased the airline’s weekly flights from 280 to more than 350 and expanded its network to 14 destinations.
Tickets for the Bengaluru–Tirupati service are available through FLY91’s website and major travel booking platforms.
