SolitAir, the UAE’s only dedicated cargo airline operating express services across the Global South, has partnered with AIR SUPPORT A/S to implement the PPS Flight Planning and OpsControl aircraft tracking solutions. This collaboration enhances SolitAir’s operational efficiency, fuel optimisation, and precision tracking—critical elements as the airline expands its network across high-yield trade routes.
With the recent launch of PPS-X, AIR SUPPORT A/S’s 10th-generation flight planning system, SolitAir gains access to cutting-edge technology that ensures accurate fuel calculations and optimised routing. This advanced system aligns with SolitAir’s mission to deliver cost-effective logistics and streamlined cargo services. Stephen Young, Vice President of AIR SUPPORT A/S, highlighted that their solutions will improve SolitAir’s operational performance, dispatcher workflow, and cost savings through tailored OCC environments.
Hamdi Osman, Founder and CEO of SolitAir, expressed excitement about integrating AIR SUPPORT’s technology, stating it marks a milestone in scaling operations and delivering efficient air cargo solutions. This partnership will strengthen SolitAir’s ability to offer seamless logistics while expanding its fleet and global network.
SolitAir operates Boeing 737-800 freighters and plans to add several new aircraft in 2025, extending its reach to India, Africa, Central Asia, and Middle Eastern hubs. With ambitions to connect over 50 cities within a six-hour flying radius from Dubai World Central (DWC), SolitAir continues to redefine cargo logistics in the Global South.
