Bhuvnesh Kumar Takes Charge as Tourism Secretary


The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) approved a significant bureaucratic reshuffle involving several senior IAS officers across key ministries, including Information and Broadcasting, Rural Development, Finance, and Tourism, according to an official order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training.

Bhuvnesh Kumar, IAS (UP:95), has been appointed as the new Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. He succeeds Srivatsa Krishna, IAS (KN:94), who has been named Secretary of the Ministry of Minority Affairs. Before this appointment, Kumar served as the Chief Executive Officer of the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology.
