Singapore Airlines has unveiled the first phase of its USD 45 million renewal project with the reopening of its First Class SilverKris Lounge at Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 2. Spanning 1,050 square metres—an 11% expansion from the previous lounge—the space now accommodates around 130 guests and represents the airline’s commitment to enhancing luxury and comfort for its elite travellers. Access is extended to Suites and First Class customers, Solitaire PPS Club members, and First Class passengers flying on Star Alliance member airlines.
Designed by Ong & Ong, the lounge showcases a consistent design language shared with Terminal 3’s flagship SilverKris Lounge while maintaining its unique identity. Expansive floor-to-ceiling windows bring in natural light, complemented by a stunning chandelier and an elegant bar that elevate the ambience. The refreshed space seamlessly combines sophistication with comfort, creating a serene environment where travellers can unwind before their journey.
Guests can enjoy distinct zones for dining, work, and relaxation, alongside enhanced shower facilities and upgraded restrooms. Signature elements such as wingback chairs, productivity pods, and bespoke furnishings add to the familiar SilverKris aesthetic. Inclusivity has also been prioritised with step-free access, Braille signages, and hearing loop systems, ensuring the space welcomes every traveller with equal ease and elegance.
The entrance features an exquisite 20-metre batik wall made of 97 laser-cut plexiglass flowers that softly pulse with light, mirroring Singapore Airlines’ iconic motif. The gentle aroma of the airline’s bespoke Batik Flora scent and the “Sound of Singapore Airlines” complete this multisensory welcome. Guests are instantly immersed in an atmosphere of calm sophistication that sets the tone for the rest of their visit.
The Signature Bar, inspired by the popular Crystal Bar in Terminal 3, now seats 12 and serves freshly made coffee, cocktails, and a curated selection of wines and spirits. The lounge also offers live cooking stations featuring both global and local favourites, including SilverKris Signature Laksa and Stir-Fried XO Carrot Cake. In November 2025, a refreshed menu will introduce wellness-inspired and international dishes, ensuring every meal reflects both creativity and comfort.
Additional features include semi-private resting pods, productivity suites for meetings, a children’s playroom with PlayStation 5, and premium en-suite showers with luxury Lalique amenities. Together, these details embody Singapore Airlines’ philosophy of refined hospitality, blending technology, design, and service excellence to provide travellers with a sanctuary of tranquillity and taste—marking a new chapter in premium air travel experiences at Changi Airport.
