Leadership appointments are increasingly shaping how luxury resorts in India differentiate their guest experience, especially as wellness-led hospitality gains momentum. In this context, The Westin Jaipur Kant Kalwar Resort & Spa has announced a key senior management appointment alongside a milestone moment for Marriott International in the Indian market.
The Westin Jaipur Kant Kalwar Resort & Spa has appointed Kamaljit Singh as General Manager, coinciding with Marriott International marking its 200th property in India. Singh will lead the resort’s overall strategy and operations, with a focus on strengthening Westin’s core pillars of wellbeing, intuitive service and experiential luxury in Rajasthan’s resort landscape.
“It is an honour to lead this resort and introduce diverse recreational activities that align perfectly with the Westin pillars,” Singh said. “From our jogging track and cycling paths to our cricket turf and multi-sport courts—featuring pickleball, basketball, volleyball and badminton—we offer something for every guest, alongside a dedicated Kids Club for our youngest visitors. I am equally proud to be a part of this historic chapter as we celebrate Marriott’s 200th hotel in India.”
An alumnus of S.C.H.M. Mangalore, Singh brings extensive experience across global luxury hospitality brands, spanning urban hotels and resort destinations. Known for his people-first leadership approach, he has been recognised within the industry for operational excellence, employer branding and his ability to integrate global brand standards with strong local relevance.
In his new role, Singh will focus on positioning the property as a leading luxury and wellness destination in Rajasthan. The resort’s offering blends Westin’s wellbeing philosophy with the cultural and natural character of Jaipur, from holistic experiences at the Heavenly Spa to curated regional dining at its Indian specialty restaurant, Ira.
With Singh at the helm, The Westin Jaipur Kant Kalwar Resort & Spa is set to enter its next phase of growth, centred on elevated guest engagement, team development and a renewed emphasis on restorative luxury experiences.
