Odisha Tourism Department is exploring five districts, Sambalpur, Sundargarh, Jagatsinghpur, Ganjam, and Puri to develop new hubs for water sports. The verification team includes experts from NIWS, Goa, and the state’s Adventure Tourism Technical Cell to assess the feasibility for such infrastructure at these sites. Additionally, they also plan to develop aero-based adventure tourism at multiple locations in the state.
