Rajeev Nangia, Chief Operating Officer at TRAC Representations, a seasoned professional who made significant contributions to the sector over a career spanning more than three decades, has passed away.
A part of TRAC since 1993, he played a pivotal role in strengthening the company’s operations and strategic direction. Over the years, he was instrumental in key areas including planning and operations, profit centre management, destination marketing, and business development.
As a core member of the leadership team, Nangia worked closely with several National Tourism Organisations (NTOs), contributing to the promotion and positioning of global destinations in the Indian market. He was widely respected across the industry for his deep market knowledge, strategic foresight, and collaborative approach.
Beyond his corporate role, Nangia also served in advisory capacities for various travel associations, agencies, and media platforms, further underlining his influence and commitment to the growth of the travel trade ecosystem.
His passing marks a significant loss to the travel and tourism fraternity.
