IndiGo has partnered with Single.id to enhance its BluChip loyalty programme, allowing members to earn rewards seamlessly on everyday spending across multiple retail and lifestyle brands. The collaboration aims to simplify reward accumulation by integrating card-linked technology directly into the customer experience.
Under the partnership, IndiGo BluChip members can link their debit or credit cards through the IndiGo Single.id portal and automatically earn BluChips on eligible transactions. The programme covers a wide range of high-frequency spending categories including dining, shopping, fuel and lifestyle purchases, eliminating the need for coupons, promo codes or manual redemption processes.
Customers can earn rewards at participating brands including McDonald’s (West and South India operations), Wow! Momo, Snitch, Colorbar, Himalaya and Pizza Hut, among several other merchant partners integrated into the Single.id ecosystem.
According to IndiGo Chief Digital and Information Officer Neetan Chopra, the partnership aligns with the airline’s strategy of making BluChip “easy to earn and easy to redeem” while extending customer engagement beyond flight bookings. The initiative is designed to strengthen customer loyalty by embedding travel rewards into everyday spending behaviour.
The onboarding process has been structured to remain frictionless. First-time users linking a payment card are directed to Single.id’s registration platform to map rewards, while returning users can directly add additional cards. Once linked, all eligible purchases automatically accrue BluChips based on programme terms and participating merchant categories.
The partnership reflects the growing trend of airlines expanding loyalty ecosystems beyond aviation into lifestyle and retail spending. With over 400 aircraft, more than 2,200 daily flights and a network spanning 95 domestic and 40 international destinations, IndiGo continues to strengthen its digital and loyalty infrastructure as competition intensifies within India’s aviation and travel market.
