Air India has launched its first international Maharaja Lounge at San Francisco International Airport to strengthen its premium customer experience for long-haul travellers. Opened at Terminal A on 23 May, the 3,300 sq ft facility offers dining, private spaces, runway views, and dedicated services for First and Business Class passengers.
The lounge accommodates up to 230 guests and is accessible to eligible Maharaja Club members. Air India said the facility blends Indian heritage-inspired interiors with modern hospitality design as part of its broader premium transformation strategy. The airline added that the San Francisco launch follows the opening of its flagship Maharaja Lounge in Delhi and supports its expanding international network and customer experience ambitions.
