Indian Railways launches Bharat Gaurav tourist train connecting India with Nepal pilgrimage circuit

IRCTC has launched the Bharat Gaurav tourist train to Nepal under the Pashupatinath Nepal Darshan Yatra circuit to promote spiritual tourism between India and Nepal. Beginning 12 June from Indore, the 10-day itinerary covers Kathmandu, Pokhara, Chitwan National Park, and key pilgrimage attractions for Indian travellers.

The all-inclusive package includes train travel, accommodation, meals, sightseeing, and transfers, with boarding available from multiple stations across Madhya Pradesh. The itinerary features visits to Pashupatinath Temple, Manakamana Temple, and wildlife experiences in Chitwan National Park. IRCTC said the initiative is expected to strengthen cross-border tourism and expand organised pilgrimage travel between the two countries.
