Accor signs Novotel Lucknow Convention Centre 


Accor has signed Novotel Lucknow Convention Centre, Golf City, strengthening its presence in North India and expanding its MICE portfolio. Scheduled to open in 2031, the 160-key property will feature approximately 4,000 sq. m. of event space and target business, leisure, sports, and transit travellers.

The hotel will be located in Lucknow’s Golf City–Ekana corridor, an area witnessing rapid residential, commercial, and infrastructure development. The property will offer convenient access to major institutional hubs, the airport, and the BRSABV Ekana Cricket Stadium.

Designed as a convention-focused hospitality development, the hotel will combine accommodation, dining, wellness, and event facilities to cater to the growing demand for meetings, conferences, exhibitions, social events, and corporate gatherings in the city.

Expanding MICE presence

The development will include approximately 4,000 sq. m. of banqueting and event facilities, positioning the hotel as a significant addition to Lucknow’s MICE infrastructure.

The property will also feature an all-day dining restaurant, bar, swimming pool, spa, and fitness centre. Accor said the hotel is being planned to support a wide range of guests, including business travellers, convention delegates, sports teams, leisure visitors, and transit passengers.

Partnership with Amarnani Promoters Group

The hotel is being developed in partnership with Amarnani Promoters Group.

Dhiraj Amarnani, Director, Amarnani Promoters Group and Kunal Amarnani, VP Hospitality, Amarnani Promoters Group, said the project aligns with the group’s long-term vision of creating hospitality developments that support the city’s evolving requirements and growing visitor demand.

The signing forms part of Accor’s broader expansion strategy across India, with a focus on high-growth secondary cities and emerging urban destinations. The company currently operates 74 hotels across India and South Asia under brands including Raffles, Fairmont, Sofitel, Pullman, Grand Mercure, Novotel, Mercure, ibis, and ibis Styles.

The Novotel Lucknow Convention Centre, Golf City is expected to become a key addition to Lucknow’s hospitality landscape as the city continues to strengthen its position as a commercial, sporting, and events destination.
