The Maharashtra government is developing a portal as a one-stop solution for tourists from India and abroad to access information on locales, tour operators and tourist experiences and make their bookings.
The state’s department of tourism is launching the ‘MahaAtithi’ portal to provide a single-point solution for tourists, said Sanjay Khandare, additional chief secretary, tourism. “The portal will cover tourist locations and the facilities around it, such as homestays, hotels and tour operators.”
With over 17 years of experience in the B2B travel and hospitality sector, she brings deep insight into travel trade dynamics, industry challenges and market developments.
