Israel is aiming to restore Indian visitor arrivals to pre-war levels by 2027, presenting renewed opportunities for outbound travel specialists as the destination ramps up marketing, improves air connectivity and streamlines visa processes. According to the Israel Ministry of Tourism, the country welcomed 13,900 Indian visitors in 2025, compared with around 44,000 arrivals between January and September 2023 before the Israel-Gaza conflict disrupted travel. The tourism board is also broadening its focus beyond pilgrimage by promoting leisure, luxury, wellness, adventure and MICE segments, creating new product opportunities for Indian travel agents once demand strengthens.
