Delhi to deploy two electric buses across four tourism circuits linking 21 heritage, spiritual and cultural sites.
Delhi Tourism and Transportation Development Corporation (DTTDC) has invited bids for two nine-metre, air-conditioned electric buses estimated at ₹2.10 crore to operate across four curated tourism circuits covering 21 heritage, spiritual and cultural sites. The proposed routes—‘The Soul of Delhi’, ‘The Heritage of Delhi’, ‘Delhi’s Sacred Harmony’ and ‘Echoes of Delhi’—will connect attractions including Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, Sacred Heart Cathedral, Lotus Temple, Akshardham Temple, Jantar Mantar and other landmarks. The buses will supplement DTTDC’s existing guided tours, hop-on-hop-off services and heritage circuits, according to the tender document.
