Roamiyo launches all-in-one travel companion app

Roamiyo has announced the launch of its new travel app, designed to serve as a comprehensive travel companion throughout a traveller’s journey—from creating an itinerary and coordinating plans to managing changes on the move. As the global travel app ecosystem continues to expand, Roamiyo sees an opportunity to support travellers across the entire journey, from deciding what to do and coordinating with fellow travellers to managing plans once a trip is already underway.

Following a private beta involving more than 2,000 users that recorded a 0% uninstall rate, the company is targeting 600,000 downloads within its first three months and more than one million downloads within its first year across its launch markets. Roamiyo’s immediate focus will be on driving user adoption, refining the product, and building a strong base of recurring users. By bringing planning, collaboration and on-trip tools into a single platform, the app aims to reduce the fragmentation travellers typically experience when switching between multiple apps before and during a trip.

Roamiyo brings together three core experiences across the travel journey: Personalised Itinerary Planning, Group Mode and Trip Mode. At the planning stage, the Personalised Itinerary Planning feature allows travellers to create customised day-by-day itineraries by entering details such as destination, travel dates, budget, number of travellers and trip type. The app then recommends attractions, activities, restaurants, transport options and travel times, while allowing users to edit or regenerate plans as preferences evolve.

For families, friends and colleagues travelling together, Group Mode creates a shared space for collaborative planning and coordination. Users can work together on a shared itinerary, communicate via group chat, create polls, share live locations, split expenses, store important travel documents, manage task lists and use interactive maps. By consolidating these everyday coordination needs, Group Mode aims to reduce the back-and-forth typically involved in organising group trips, helping everyone stay aligned on plans, responsibilities, expenses and changes throughout the journey.

Once a trip begins, Trip Mode gives travellers live access to their itinerary, along with the flexibility to rearrange activities, update schedules or add new destinations while travelling. The feature also integrates navigation, currency conversion, language translation, weather updates, nearby recommendations and booking information directly into the travel experience. Together, these three features are designed to support the full travel lifecycle—helping users plan trips, coordinate with fellow travellers, and adapt to changes on the move.

Roamiyo will operate on a subscription-based model, with new users receiving a 30-day free trial. Reflecting on the app’s origins, the company’s founder said Roamiyo was born out of personal frustration with constantly switching between different apps while planning and managing a trip, adding that the vision behind the app is to create a travel companion that helps people plan with confidence, stay connected, and adapt easily as their journey unfolds.
