MakeMyTrip (MMT) has launched curated holiday packages to Lakshadweep, in partnership with regional carrier Fly91, which will operate direct flights connecting Bengaluru to Agatti starting November 12, 2026.
The service will run every four days till mid-January 2027, timed to Lakshadweep’s peak travel season between November and January. With Bengaluru well connected to metro and mini metros across India, the new route positions the city as a gateway to Lakshadweep for travellers well beyond South India.
The curated package makes it easier for travellers to plan a Lakshadweep getaway, with the key arrangements brought together in a single booking. Travellers get round trip flights, permits, accommodation, meals, on-ground activities and the support of a tour manager travelling with the group. In addition to the included activities, travellers can also choose from optional experiences such as snorkelling, scuba diving, turtle watching, and wellness sessions with yoga and meditation, bookable in advance at an added cost.
The 4-day, 3-night package starts at ₹84,898 per person and can be booked on MakeMyTrip and through its franchisee network.
Commenting on the launch, Jasmeet Singh, Chief Business Officer, Holidays & Experiences, MakeMyTrip, said, “One of our growth pillars is expanding our holiday portfolio by working closely with airlines to open direct connections to underserved destinations that travellers want to visit. This partnership is a good example of what that looks like in practice. Lakshadweep has never lacked interest, what it lacked was ease of access. Once you solve for that, a destination competes for a traveller’s time in a completely different way.”
Manoj Chacko, Managing Director and CEO, FLY91, said “FLY91 has been privileged to play a meaningful role in building air connectivity to the beautiful islands of Lakshadweep, beginning with our Goa–Agatti service and followed by two direct services between Kochi and Agatti. Agatti remains one of the most pristine destinations in India, and we are incredibly proud to partner with MakeMyTrip to help grow Lakshadweep as a tourism destination. Together, we’re offering travellers not just a flight, but an island holiday that makes this destination easier to reach.”
