A new YouGov survey commissioned by Royal Caribbean found 67% of Indian respondents find multi-destination European cruising appealing, with Italy leading destination preferences at 51%, followed by France at 48%, the UK at 45% and Spain at 30%. For Indian travellers, visiting multiple destinations with ease was the leading benefit, cited by 45%, while 42% valued safety and comfort and 40% highlighted included meals and entertainment. Cruises and short-haul flights each attracted 24% preference for travel between European destinations, behind trains at 25%. The survey covered 6,223 adults across India, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines from May 28 to June 8, 2026. The findings coincide with Legend of the Seas beginning Mediterranean sailings from Barcelona and Rome this September.
