Accor has formally inaugurated Novotel Bhubaneswar, marking the group’s entry into Odisha and the opening of its first five-star property in the state capital. Located on Janpath, the hotel has 118 rooms and suites and approximately 12,000 sq ft of social and event spaces for corporate gatherings, conferences, weddings and other functions. Its facilities include Food Exchange, Tea & Tonic and E2O–East Essence, Pan Asian Kitchen & Bar, alongside recreational facilities. Accor Vice-President Vineet Mishra said the group sees significant tourism potential in Odisha and is looking to expand its footprint in the state. The inauguration was attended by Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida. The opening follows Accor’s earlier announcement of the property as its first internationally branded hospitality destination in Bhubaneswar.
