Air India Express has introduced a flat 10% discount on domestic Value fares for students, available across all booking channels until October 20, 2026. The offer is aimed at students planning domestic travel during the festive period.
Students booking domestic Value fares will also receive an enhanced baggage allowance of 25 kg, comprising the standard 15 kg allowance plus an additional 10 kg. The benefit is available regardless of the booking channel used.
Students making bookings through the Air India Express website or mobile app can additionally change their travel date for ₹99 on eligible domestic Value fares. Travellers can also receive another 5% discount on domestic and international flights booked directly through the website or app using the code VIBES.
Air India Express is also offering discounts on direct bookings to other customers. Guests paying with Visa debit or credit cards can receive up to ₹600 off domestic and international flights using the code VISAFLY, valid until October 9, 2026.
The airline said the combination of fare discounts, additional baggage, flexible date changes and direct-booking offers is intended to provide greater value and convenience to young travellers across its domestic and international network.
To qualify for the student benefits, travellers must be 12 years or older and carry a valid student photo ID issued by a recognised educational institution. The document must include the student’s name and date of birth and will need to be presented at the airport check-in counter for verification.
