Thomas Cook expands Bengaluru retail network with outlet

Thomas Cook (India) has expanded its retail presence in Bengaluru with a new outlet in Raja Rajeshwari Nagar (RR Nagar). The addition takes the company’s network to 13 outlets in Bengaluru and 18 across Karnataka.

Located in southwest Bengaluru, RR Nagar is an established residential and lifestyle hub with a significant base of affluent and upper-middle-income households, technology professionals and students. Its connectivity with residential and emerging growth corridors makes it a strategic retail catchment for travel services.

The new outlet will serve customers across Ideal Homes Township, BEML Layout, BHEL Layout, Remco Layout, Gnanabharathi and Kengeri Satellite Town, with its wider catchment extending towards Uttarahalli, Hosakerehalli, Nayandahalli, Mysore Road, Chandra Layout and southern Vijayanagar.

The outlet will offer international and domestic holidays, group tours, personalised holidays, cruises and travel insurance. Customers will also have access to Thomas Cook’s AI-powered booking platform, which supports personalised holiday planning and real-time availability and reservations.

Thomas Cook said Bengaluru travellers are increasingly taking multiple short breaks and mini-cations around weekends and public holidays. The company is also seeing interest in experiential travel, cruises, charter-led journeys, pilgrimage tourism and emerging destinations across Asia, Europe, Africa and other international markets.

Popular international choices include Switzerland, France, Austria, Italy, Spain, Scandinavia, Australia, New Zealand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore. The company is also seeing growing interest in destinations such as the Philippines, Cambodia, Laos, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Morocco, South Africa, Kenya, Iceland, Antarctica and Seychelles, alongside domestic and spiritual travel.
