Atlantis Dubai sees resilient demand from India; steps up resort investments

New dining concepts, upgraded experiences and a strong events calendar underpin Atlantis Dubai’s strategy to sustain demand and diversify revenue streams, with India continuing to deliver positive sales momentum.

During her recent visit to India, Rutuja Patil, Director – Account Director, Leisure Sales, (India), Atlantis Dubai, said, “Atlantis Dubai is continuing to invest in its resort portfolio and non-room revenue offerings amid a gradual recovery in booking confidence following the ceasefire in April.”

The luxury hospitality group is focusing on dining, entertainment and experiential offerings to strengthen its guest proposition and support long-term growth.

During the challenging period earlier this year, Atlantis Aquaventure World distributed more than 80,000 complimentary water park tickets to UAE residents as part of its community outreach initiative.

The group’s ongoing investments include the expansion of the Platōs lobby lounge at Atlantis The Royal, refurbishment of Ossiano, the signature restaurant at Atlantis, The Palm, the new Garden Bar at Atlantis The Royal, and enhanced experiences at Cloud 22.

The second half of 2026 will also see Diwali activations at Atlantis, The Palm, while Katy Perry is set to headline the property’s New Year’s Eve gala dinner. These initiatives form part of Atlantis Dubai’s strategy to strengthen its destination appeal through a wider mix of leisure, dining and entertainment experiences beyond room stays.

“India remains a key source market for Dubai, with extensive air connectivity from major metropolitan centres and emerging cities supporting short-haul holidays, repeat visits and year-round leisure demand,” she said.

“The Indian market had remained resilient, with positive sales trends during vacation periods. The destination’s accessibility, connectivity and appeal for travellers visiting friends and relatives in the UAE continue to support demand,” she added.

While geopolitical developments affected booking patterns earlier in the year, Patil said the market had shown resilience, with traveller confidence gradually improving.

For the travel trade, Atlantis Dubai’s continued investment in its product portfolio and experience-led offerings presents opportunities to package accommodation with dining, entertainment and attractions. The group’s focus on India also underscores the importance of the market in sustaining demand for Dubai’s luxury hospitality segment.
