Guwahati is set to strengthen its position as a concert tourism hub with legendary American rock band Guns N’ Roses scheduled to perform in the city on 17 November 2026. Welcoming the band, Himanta Biswa Sarma said the event follows the success of Post Malone’s concert and reflects Assam’s growing stature as a global live entertainment destination. He noted that fans travelling from across India and abroad will experience Assam’s hospitality, culture and vibrancy, while creating new opportunities for tourism and the local economy. The concert will mark Guns N’ Roses’ first-ever performance in Northeast India.
