Delhi has begun trial runs of its first Yamuna river cruise, ‘Namo Yamuna – River Safari’, with a 40-minute ride priced at ₹500 per person. The service will cover around 4–5 km between Sonia Vihar and Jagatpur, accommodating up to 30 passengers per trip. Chief Minister Rekha Gupta inspected the cruise, ahead of its planned formal launch after four to five days of trials. Tickets are expected to be available online through the Delhi Tourism website. The project follows a March 2025 agreement between the Inland Waterways Authority of India and Delhi government agencies to develop cruise tourism along the Yamuna. The Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways estimated the project cost at ₹20 crore in November 2025.
