Disney Adventure adds Langkawi to Singapore sailings

Starting December 31, selected four-night Disney Adventure sailings from Singapore will include a new stop at Langkawi, Malaysia, marking the first opportunity for guests to disembark and explore a destination as part of a Disney Adventure voyage.

The new itineraries are part of Disney Cruise Line’s latest sailing schedule covering September to December 2027. The Disney Adventure, which began its maiden voyage on March 10, is homeported in Singapore for at least five years from 2026, offering three- and four-night cruises.

Langkawi will be visited on the third day of selected four-night sailings, while the remainder of the itinerary will continue to feature days at sea. Disney Cruise Line said the addition would give families opportunities to experience Langkawi’s rainforests, coastline, local crafts and cultural attractions alongside the onboard experiences.

The new port call could also broaden the appeal of the Disney Adventure for travellers seeking more than an onboard family entertainment experience. Guests will have the option to explore Langkawi’s beaches, take part in island-hopping and water sports, or discover its rainforest and coastal landscapes.

Located off Malaysia’s north-western coast, Langkawi is known for its turquoise waters, beaches and dramatic limestone formations. The archipelago was recognised as Southeast Asia’s first UNESCO Global Geopark, with geological formations dating back more than 550 million years.

Beyond its natural attractions, Langkawi offers visitors opportunities to experience local culture and cuisine, including fresh seafood and traditional Malay dishes. The addition strengthens the destination component of Disney’s Singapore cruise offering while giving international families another gateway to explore Southeast Asia.
