Emirates launches India drive for aircraft engineers

Emirates has launched a recruitment drive in India to hire experienced Licensed Aircraft Engineers through dedicated roadshows in Mumbai and New Delhi between 21 and 25 July.

The recruitment events will be held on 21-22 July in Mumbai and 24-25 July in New Delhi, allowing candidates to interact with Emirates recruiters and engineering representatives to learn about roles, benefits and life in Dubai.

Successful candidates will join Emirates Engineering, one of the world’s largest aircraft maintenance organisations, supporting the airline’s fleet of Airbus and Boeing aircraft as well as third-party maintenance operations.

The airline also highlighted its upcoming engineering facility at Dubai South, which will feature the world’s largest free-span hangar, dedicated landing gear workshop, extensive maintenance space and advanced aircraft painting hangars. The facility is expected to be completed by mid-2030.

Emirates Vice President for India and Nepal, Mohammad Sarhan, said the airline aims to provide Indian engineers with opportunities to work on advanced aviation technologies and develop their careers in a global environment.

The airline offers a tax-free salary, profit-sharing eligibility, medical and life insurance, education allowance, discounted travel benefits and other employee privileges as part of its compensation package.
