Speaking at 6th TravTalk Think Tank, Ashwani Kumar Goela, Vice President Operations – Radisson Blu Plaza Delhi Airport& Area General Manager – Radisson Hotel Group, said the hospitality sector needs to rethink traditional workforce expectations. “Why should we glorify 14 hours of work per day?” he questioned, adding that younger professionals today seek better work culture, learning opportunities and fair compensation. Goela said hospitality brands must create inclusive and transparent work environments if they want to retain talent. He also stressed that hotels should benchmark salaries beyond the hospitality sector and adapt to changing workforce expectations to build long-term loyalty.
