Urging its members to start preparing for the Nashik Kumbh Mela 2027, which takes place once every 12 years, IATO Maharashtra Chapter said that it expects large volumes of tourists and pilgrims to descend on Nashik. “We will need a lot of buses and cars for transfers, hotel rooms, staff, etc. We advise that you start preparing from now to be able to cater to these large volumes. We are looking at staffing issues that our members are plagued by, and we are discussing signing an MoU with educational institutes in the country to absorb their graduates,” said Wasim Shaikh, a member of the Executive Committee.
