The Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO) will launch its first dedicated China roadshow in March 2027 as part of an extensive international marketing calendar for 2026–27, aimed at boosting inbound tourism to India. The China outreach will cover Beijing (24 March), Shanghai (26 March), and Guangzhou (29 March), marking a significant expansion into one of Asia’s key outbound travel markets.
Besides China, IATO has scheduled roadshows across Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand (August 2026); France, Switzerland, and Geneva after IFTM Top Resa (September 2026); Ireland and the UK before WTM London (October 2026); Japan and South Korea (November 2026); Southern Europe after FITUR (January 2027); and Central Europe ahead of ITB Berlin (March 2027).
The roadshows are open to IATO members, state tourism boards, hotels, destination management companies (DMCs), transport operators, attractions, airlines, and other tourism stakeholders seeking to promote India internationally. Participation charges begin from ₹1.75 lakh for Asia, ₹2.5 lakh for Europe, ₹2.75 lakh for the UK & Ireland, ₹3 lakh for Japan & Korea, and ₹3.25 lakh for the China roadshow, with packages covering multiple cities within each circuit.
