India contributes nearly seven million passengers to Abu Dhabi Zayed International Airport, accounting for 24 per cent of its total traffic, said Carsten Norland, Chief Commercial Officer, Abu Dhabi Zayed International Airport (AUH). “Five million of them (travellers) are what we call point-to-point and two million are transit passengers. This shows that India is a strong market. In the last couple of years, we have seen that the number of passengers from India coming here is growing at more than 20 per cent every year,” Norland said.
