India will need 3,480 new passenger aircraft over two decades, outpacing China’s projections: Airbus


India’s domestic air travel growth is projected to be the fastest in Asia-Pacific, according to Airbus as it forecasts India will need 3,480 new passenger aircraft over two decades. This demand significantly outpaces China’s projected aircraft requirements. Global aircraft demand remains strong despite geopolitical and supply-chain challenges. The aircraft maker has also said it has not seen any softening in demand or deliveries despite geopolitical tensions and supply-chain challenges.
