Indian cruise demand shifts to 7–14-night voyages, with polar trips crossing $10,000: Manoj Saraf

Indian travellers are increasingly opting for longer cruise holidays, with 7–10-night and 14-night voyages gaining traction across Europe, the Mediterranean, Alaska and the Caribbean, said Manoj Saraf, Chairman & MD, Gainwell. “The big shift is in appetite for longer trips. Where short sailings once dominated, travellers are now booking 7–10-night and even 14-night voyages,” Saraf said. He added that fares typically range from $150–$200 per person per night in the budget segment and $200–$300 in the premium segment, while polar cruises are also emerging, with Antarctica voyages costing over $10,000.
